For Dr. Cameron Greene, Baptist Beaches was an obvious choice for the site of his life-altering—and life-starting—work. The leading obstetrician is a key member of the Baptist Beaches team that delivers more than 1,000 babies annually.
A native to the beaches area for the past 16 years, Dr. Greene transitioned from Baptist's downtown location to practice in his home community. Since his move, he has enjoyed day-to-day contact with patients and families and the opportunity to watch the growth of the babies he delivers—running into them at the ballpark, seeing their pictures in the area paper and even delivering their babies. Dr. Greene says his enthusiasm for Baptist Beaches is also a reflection of his respect for the hospital staff. "They want everyone's experience to be the best possible under any given circumstance," Dr. Greene says. "They're there to provide a service that will be rewarding and memorable to the patient and their family."
Dr. Greene is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Florida's Jacksonville Health Education program. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, Florida Obstetric and Gynecology Society and the Duval County Medical Society.
