The new Baptist Beaches Surgery Center is helping members of our community recover and get back to normal faster than ever before. Patients needing minimally invasive surgeries not requiring an overnight stay – such as cataract, ear, nose, throat, knee, foot, or gynecological procedures – can experience comprehensive care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Beaches residents can receive treatment on an outpatient basis with the latest equipment and amenities. To make patients feel more at home, pre- and post-op treatments are performed in comfortable lounge chairs with private televisions.

Designed to enhance patient safety and medical outcomes, each of the spacious operating suites is equipped with these advanced technologies:

• A touch-screen computer system with centralized controls for efficient activation and adjustment of medical devices
• Booms which suspend equipment, wires and cords to safely streamline the operating room
• Three 26” high-definition monitors that allow the surgical team to see the surgical field from anywhere in the operating room
• A 46” high-definition LCD monitor for maximum precision during procedures
• LED lights that lower heat levels and keep the surgical field shadow-free
• A high-definition camera and communication system for remote connectivity
