Not every great medical center can say it is a community hospital. Baptist Beaches has been this area's community-driven hospital since 1961. We are not only physically in the center of the Beaches and Intracoastal community we are committed to the health and overall vibrancy of this extraordinary community.
Our mission calls us to care for people whose lives have been interrupted by illness or injury, and to promote health and wellness in our community. We envision a healthier beaches community in which people have access to quality care, health education and resources to prevent disease and encourage healthy living. To these ends, Baptist Beaches provides more than $10 million a year in uncompensated and charity care. Our physicians, staff and volunteers are immersed in community health and well-being. We are a part of this community and it is a part of us.

Baptist Beaches has been recognized for many outstanding achievements on the national level. But what matters most to us is striving to provide excellent healthcare services for the benefit of all beaches residents.
As a non-profit hospital, any money we make is reinvested to improve the health of our local community. One way we do this is by providing care to everyone in our community. Last year alone, Baptist Beaches provided more than $10 million in uncompensated health care to beaches families. This number is expected to increase as more and more people experience financial hardships in these uncertain economic times.
Regardless of the current economic climate, Baptist Beaches is committed to providing beaches residents with the highest quality of care. Our plans for the future include:
- Renovating our Emergency Center as well as our patient rooms
- Continually improving our Emergency Room experience through “best in class” process improvements
- Keeping pace with advancements in medical technology and specialized care
- Redesigning our hospital entrance and adding open spaces for families and guests
While we have come a long way toward our vision of excellence, there is much more work to be done. And we can't do it without your help. Ways to Give
Individuals, corporations or foundations may demonstrate support for Baptist Beaches in a number of ways:
Annual Giving
Individuals are encouraged to make annual membership gifts to
Baptist Health's Circle of Care. These annual gifts may be directed to
a specific program at Baptist Beaches or where the need is most urgent,
depending on your wishes.
Directed Giving
In consultation with Baptist Health Foundation staff, individuals
can strategically support Baptist Beaches programs of personal interest
or campaign initiatives which significantly enhance our services through
program and facility expansion.
Legacy Giving
The Society of 1955
The Society of 1955 honors those individuals who provide for Baptist
Health in their will or estate plan or establish an endowed fund with
the Baptist Health Foundation. Designations can be made to Baptist
Beaches. Through their commitment, society members ensure the future
financial security of the health system and leave a lasting legacy.
Endowments
A named endowment may be established with a gift of $25,000 and
above to support a specific program at Baptist Beaches. Endowed funds
are professionally managed and will benefit the designated initiative
in perpetuity.
Memorials, Honors & Commemorations
As a personal tribute, individuals may make gifts to Baptist
Beaches in memory of a friend or loved one, in honor of an extraordinary
caregiver or in commemoration of a special occasion.
